The 16th International Conference on Social Robotics will bring together researchers and practitioners working on the interaction between humans and intelligent robots and on the integration of social robots into our society. ICSR’24 will take place in Odense, Denmark as a face-to-face conference between October 23-26, 2024. This will be the first time that the conference will be hosted in Denmark and Scandinavia. The theme of this year\u2019s conference is \u201cEmpowering Humanity: The Role of Social and Collaborative Robotics in Shaping Our Future<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The conference welcomes original contributions describing technically rigorous scientific and research advances in the area of social robotics and AI: The topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Innovative ideas and concepts, new discoveries and improvements, novel applications on the latest fundamental advances in the core technologies that form the backbone of social robotics as well as distinguished studies and projects pertaining the social robotics and its interaction and impact in our society. Empowering Humanity<\/strong> also means recognizing how social robotics and AI can help push the boundaries of creative expression and interactive experiences. This year\u2019s conference welcomes contributions that engage social robotics and AI across the domains of the visual and performing arts, including design, music, live performance, and interactive installations. <\/p>\n\n\n\nTopics<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Regular papers have a limit of 10 pages using the Springer LNCS\/LNAI style with the option of up to 4 extra pages for extra charge. All submissions will be refereed by the program committee. Detailed instructions for paper submission are available under the call for full papers<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
Short paper submissions will be accepted which will be presented as posters, demos or videos. The manuscript should not be more than 6 pages long. More information about short papers is available here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Participants are invited to hold workshops and tutorials on topics relevant to social robotics. Proposals on workshops will be considered by the organizing committee. See more information about submission of workshops here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The design competition will be held this years as well. We are welcoming extended abstract submissions for innovative ideas, solutions and applications. For details see the competition call here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
