SDU is the Danish acronym for the University of Southern Denmark, which will host the workshops and the reception. If you are arriving to Odense by train or by bus, you will be very close to the tram line, which can take you to the university:
Before getting on the tram make sure to buy a ticket. It is easiest to do so by scanning the QR code with your phone at any station and using a credit card to pay:
Please get off at the “SDU University” tram stop. Do NOT get off at “Campus Odense” or “SDU Syd”. Once you are off, enter the building using the stairs going up and follow the signs for the workshops and reception:
Workshops will be held in different rooms. Enter the university building here if coming my tram and you will see signs and people to help you get to your destination. If you are arriving by car or taxi the closest dropoff/parking is here. If taking taxi, show the driver the Google Maps location or tell them to take you to “Det Tekniske Fakultet – Syddansk Universitet”. It is also known as the “cheese building” because of obvious reasons. We recommend taking the tram though, as it will be easier to find your way around from the tram station (with the help of our volunteer and signage).
Reception
The Reception will be held at the Dream Lab, which you can find here.
It will be a perfect opportunity to catch up with old colleagues and meet new ones over a glass of wine or can of beer and tapas-style food. SDU’s very own DJ, Madav, will play some lounge music, but if the crowd is interested, he will be able to lay down some dance beats as well towards the end of the reception. Check out his links:
